Nov 16, 2017 It is not possible. You can open iPad songs in GarageBand on the Mac, but not a song modified on the Mac on the iPad. It is one-way. You can only bounce the Mac song as an audio file to iTunes and sync the song as an audio file to your iPad. Use that to add additional tracks in a new project. Oct 21, 2019 Step 2: Click Add File to import a GarageBand file to the program. Step 3: Click Profile and Choose General Audio MP3 as the export music format. Then click Browse to select the output folder where the converted GarageBand files will be saved. Step 4: Click Convert to start converting GarageBand to MP3. Wait for a while, and you will get your music with MP3 format. I bought a new Mac, and want to transfer the app to it. (By my reading of the license, this is perfectly legal, as long as I don't continue to use it on the old computer.) I copied GarageBand.app over, and then it complained about missing 'Application Support' and 'Apple Loops Index'. Garageband files turned into audio when transfered to different mac.
